Mark Angelo Thurner graduated from Belmont Hill School class of 2013 and Skidmore college with a B.S. in Theater (con. Acting and Directing), class of 2017. His training there covered a wide range of talents and trainings including Suzuki, viewpoints, stage combat, film acting, Shakespeare, Chekov and technical work in the theater amongst many others. He has worked in the capacity of an actor, director, sound designer, and singer. He spent an entire semester in 2016 studying with the incredible teachers of the Moscow Art Theater in Russia where he dislocated his shoulder, witnessed some remarkable theater, and devised a glut of pieces with his classmates. He’s trained as a classical singer but sings both pop and musical theater. He sang with the professional all-male Acapella group The Vineyard Sound from 2016-2018, returning in 2018 as a Co-Business Manager handling the marketing, merchandise, financials, and many other aspects of the business. He also has appeared numerous times in many of Colonial Radio Theater’s dramas written and directed by Jerry Robbins. He loves traveling and has been lucky enough to have visited 5 different continents and 11 countries in his still relatively short life. He speaks Mandarin well enough to not get lost and has camped on the Great Wall of China. He enjoys beaches and adventuring. He’s very excited to be pursuing his love of acting and singing professionally.
